This unique chair has curved, horizontal, raised arms which are normally found on captain's chairs, but the arms are supported only by the narrow back, with no support at the front. The chair back has a pierced design with a five point star carved at the center. The turfed, round seat is upholstered with a newer fabric. The seat height is 18 inches. The chair seat sits on a decorative, cast iron base with three feet.
