The felted, white cross of the Swiss has been meticulously added to this Swiss Army blanket. If you look carefully, you can see the tiny braids which were carefully added to the traditional red band. As is the custom with Swiss Army blankets, two letters followed by two numbers have been added to the corner of the blanket. The previous owner dates this blanket as an original World War II item; others claim the 58 in the corner identifies it as an item from 1958.
