Posted on November 15, 2016 by Shannen Eikerman

Winter is around the corner, and with it comes our favorite winter accessory: cozy scarves. We chose this German-made, 100% cashmere scarf for our wish list because it is irresistibly soft. Just one touch and you'll want one for yourself!

Scarves are a great way to add flare and comfort to your winter outfit and we've detailed 6 ways for you to tie your scarf to fit any occasion and style.

How to tie a scarf 6 ways

1. Classic Loop

The classic loop adds sophistication and comfort to any winter style.

2. Pull the folded scarf around the back of your neck so that one side creates a loop, and one side has the ends of the scarf.

3. Pull the end of the scarf through the loop until it tightens towards your neck.

4. Voila! You've tied your scarf in the classic loop!

2. French Knot

The French Knot adds a whimsical twist to the Classic Loop.

2. Like the Classic Loop, pull the folded scarf around the back of your neck so that one side creates a loop, and one side has the ends of the scarf.

3. Take one end of the scarf and pull it through the loop to create a Classic Loop, leaving one end out of the loop.

4. Take the other end of the scarf that's not through the loop. Pull it over the Classic Loop and under the loop.

5. Pull the end all the way through to tighten until you have created a criss-cross shape.

6. And there you have it! A beautiful French Knot.

3. Celebrity Knot

The celebrity knot is perfect for adding a chic twist to your scarf. Similar to creating your own infinity-scarf, this gives a little volume to your outfit.
