Made of thick copper, this substantial bowl features cramp seams brazed with brass filler, a hammered finish, and wide rim. The edges of the copper were clipped with metal shears to create the notches of the cramp seam during the 19th century prior to machine cuts, giving the seam an irregular appearance.
Condition: Consistent with age and use. Smolder marks.
