German Gluhwein Bowl with Lid and Six Cups

With a grapevine and castle motif, this beautiful mulled wine bowl and cup set showcases many of Germany's beautiful castles. All of the castles are in the area of former West Germany, dating the set to post World War II. Grapevine handles and a castle finial accent the bowl. Six large castles are depicted at the midsection of the bowl. Four additional castles are featured just below the mouth. The six cups showcase grapevine handles and the same four castles featured at the top of the bowl. The bottom of the bowl has the GERZ maker's mark and 4L.
