Oak Deux Corps Cabinet

Inspired by a combination of simplicity and graceful, soft lines consistent with French Country style furniture, this beautiful double bodied cabinet was crafted in the mid-19th century from solid European oak and finished with a dark stain. The cabinet's soft lines are evident in its rounded corners, scalloped panel doors, scalloped apron, and short cabriole legs with hearts at the knees. Substantial in size, it has three doors in the top cabinet that open to generous storage. The bottom cabinet is 37.5 inches tall and has three drawers over three additional doors. Both cabinets have a single adjustable shelf. The upper portion is not as long or deep as the lower cabinet enabling it to rest comfortably on top.
Condition: Consistent with age and use. Dings, scratches, and cracks consistent with pieces from this era.
